TREKKING

We offer pony trekking to suit all riders, adults, children and all capabilities. Providing all are 4+yrs.With fantastic scenery and mainly off road riding, you can relax and enjoy your trek and take in the sights. Given that we don't have access to much flat land, our rides are not particularly fast paced. There are canter opportunities available for experienced riders but please don't expect to go flying along the countryside. We have various routes, some of which are straight forward and others require a little bit more skill.

Our weight limit is 14.5 st/91kg.
Please ensure honesty when providing me with your weight as it is unfair to ask the horses to carry weights they are not capable of.
Being honest about all riders abilities is paramount. Please do not pretend riders are something they are not as this only increases risk of accident. Having said that if you are super confident and like a bit of action then that's handy to know too. I don't want you to have a boring ride.

I reserve the right to refuse any customer who I believe is over the weight limit or if I feel they are not as experienced as I have been led to believe. The ride may be adjusted.

We have a large mounting block available to assist you on getting on and off your horse, lots of people are relieved when they see that!

TREKKING AND PONY PAMPERING

All nervous riders will have an assistant walking along with them, we cater for all abilities. On all inexperienced rides there will be at least 1 helper on foot.
We will assess riders abilities along the way and let them take over the controls as much as is safe to do so and only if the rider is happy.


The pamper sessions are a great way of getting up close and personal with your pony. Enjoy some time, brushing, bonding, feeding, cuddling and loving your pony. It's a great way to build confidence for adults and children.
The pamper sessions are very popular and fill up very quickly.
If you have a mixed group of just riders and those who want to pamper this can be catered for.


🐴🐴Suitable for all riders, children and adults 4yrs+, novice or experienced 🐴🐴

All of our treks take us in and around sheigra following peat tracks or taking to the wild hills. The scenery is absolutely stunning with views over the Minch and even catching site of the Hebrides on a clear day. Handa island is also visible from most of our treks. You may be lucky enough to catch sight of some wild deer 🦌 or there are various birds and birds of prey to enjoy as we ride along.

Pony riding and pamper session 1hr- £35
(Consists of 30 mins riding, 30 mins pampering approx)


Pony riding, 1 hr- £35

Pony riding and pamper session, 1.5 hr- £45.
(1hr riding, 30 mins pamper )

NON RIDDEN
If you don’t want to ride but would like to take part, we offer a pamper and walk session. 30mins pamper, 30mins walk

Or you can walk a horse round with the rest on the 1 hour

Firstly please do not be insulted if I interrogate you at the time of booking.
I have a huge problem with people claiming to be more experienced than they actually are. As an experienced rider I am sure you can appreciate how dangerous this can be.
Before booking an experienced ride please consider the following questions

Are you used to hacking out or mainly school work?

Are you capable in canter?




Please do not over estimate your abilities as this can lead to accidents. However please do not play down your abilities as this could lead to a boring ride. If you are unsure then please do not hesitate to contact me and I will be more than happy to discuss with you.


HILL RIDES

The ride will include trotting and cantering if desired, please be aware though that we have very few flat areas so please don’t expect to be flying about everywhere 😊 🐎




🐴PAMPER PACKAGE🐴

For just £10 you can have an extra 30 minutes hour, brushing, tacking up/un tacking, feeding and turning out if they are finished for the day.

Our aim is to make sure that all riders have a fun and safe experience.
